01
Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Meday. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Meday mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service. Your continued use of the Service after any updates to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Meday ("we," "us," or "our"). By using our Service, you also agree to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
If you need formal legal identification details for contracting, invoicing, or legal notices, please contact us at service.meday@gmail.com. The applicable operating entity details will depend on the specific Service interaction and transaction.
02
Eligibility
To use the Service, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age. The Service is not intended for persons under 18. We do not knowingly permit minors to register or use the Service.
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction.
- Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable law.
- Not have been previously banned or removed from the Service by us.
By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements listed above. If we discover that you do not meet these requirements, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately.
03
Account Registration
Creating an Account
To access most features of the Service, you must register for an account. You may register directly or through a third-party authentication service (Google, Apple). When registering, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information including your name, city, interests, and account type (individual or organization).
Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at service.meday@gmail.com if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.
Account Types
Meday offers two account types:
- Individual accounts — for people who want to create events or join events created by others.
- Organization accounts — for communities and organizations that want to present themselves as an organization and publish events.
You may not create more than one personal account. Organization accounts must represent a legitimate entity.
Account Deletion
You may delete your account from the app settings. Deletion requires confirmation with your password. We remove the account data held in the Service as described in our Privacy Policy; records held independently by a payment provider may remain subject to that provider's terms and legal obligations.
04
User Content
Your Content
The Service allows you to create, upload, submit, and share content including event listings, profile information, photos, descriptions, chat messages, and reviews ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content.
License to Meday
By submitting User Content to the Service, you grant Meday a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display such content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service. This license ends when you delete your content or your account, subject to any technical delays related to backups and caching.
Your Responsibility
You are solely responsible for the User Content you post. You represent and warrant that:
- You own or have the necessary rights to the content you submit.
- Your content does not violate any applicable laws or third-party intellectual property rights.
- Your content is accurate and does not mislead other users.
- Your content does not contain harmful, illegal, or prohibited material as described in Section 5.
05
Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Post, share, or promote illegal activities, events, or content.
- Harass, threaten, bully, intimidate, or harm other users.
- Create events that involve illegal substances, weapons, or activities that endanger participants.
- Impersonate any person, organization, or entity, or falsely claim an affiliation.
- Post false, misleading, or deceptive event information or pricing.
- Collect or harvest personal data of other users without their explicit consent.
- Send unsolicited commercial messages (spam) through the chat or messaging features.
- Upload viruses, malware, or any harmful code.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other user accounts or the Service's systems.
- Circumvent any content moderation, filtering, or security measures.
- Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to interact with the Service.
- Promote discrimination or hatred based on race, gender, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
- Post sexually explicit, pornographic, or obscene content.
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations.
Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or permanent ban without prior notice. We reserve the right to report illegal activity to the appropriate authorities.
06
Events & Payments
Creating Events
Users and organizations may create events through the Service by providing event details including name, description, date, location, category, photos, gender restrictions, price, and participant limit. All events are subject to content review before publication (see Section 7). By creating an event, you confirm that all provided information is accurate and that the event complies with these Terms and applicable law.
Premium Subscription
Meday offers an optional Premium subscription. Available benefits may include a higher daily event-creation limit, up to five photos per event, the ability to edit a published event, and removal of advertising in the app. The exact plan, price, billing period, available payment method, and benefits are displayed before purchase and may vary by platform and region.
Where a subscription renews automatically, you may manage or cancel it through the purchase flow or store account used for the purchase. Cancellation takes effect in accordance with the terms shown at checkout and the applicable store or payment provider rules. Refunds are handled where required by applicable law or the provider's policy.
In-App Purchases
Premium purchases may be processed through Google Play, the Apple App Store, or another payment provider made available in the Service. The relevant provider's terms, privacy policy, and refund rules apply to that transaction. Meday does not receive your full payment-card details.
07
Content Moderation
Events are submitted for moderation before publication. Our moderation process may include:
- Automated checks — event content may be checked for prohibited or harmful material.
- Additional review — content flagged by automated checks or reported by users may be reviewed by a person.
Possible event statuses include: Draft, Under Review, Published, Started, Finished, Stopped, and Rejected. If an event is rejected, we may provide the available reason in the Service; you may submit a corrected event for review.
We reserve the right to reject, remove, or modify any content that violates these Terms, without prior notice and without liability.
If you believe your event was rejected in error, you may contact support at service.meday@gmail.com with the relevant event details and a short explanation for additional review.
User Reports
Users may report content or other users they believe violate these Terms. We review all reports and take appropriate action at our sole discretion. We cannot guarantee specific outcomes or response times for reports.
08
Intellectual Property
The Meday name, logo, application design, interface, and all related proprietary software are owned by Meday and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works based on the Service without our express written permission.
User Content remains the property of the respective users. Meday claims no ownership over content you create, except for the limited license granted in Section 4.
If you believe that any content on the Service infringes your copyright or intellectual property rights, please contact us at service.meday@gmail.com with a description of the claimed infringement.
09
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we determine that:
- You have violated these Terms or our community guidelines.
- Your use of the Service creates legal risk for us or other users.
- We are required to do so by law or a legal authority.
- Your account has been inactive for an extended period.
You may terminate your account at any time using the account deletion feature in the app. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect, including intellectual property provisions, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.
10
Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
Platform Role
Meday is a platform that connects event organizers with participants. We do not organize, sponsor, endorse, or verify any events listed on the Service. We are not a party to any transaction or agreement between organizers and participants.
No Warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Meday and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or personal injury — arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your attendance at any event found through the Service, or your interactions with other users.
You use the Service and attend events entirely at your own risk. Always exercise personal judgment and due diligence when interacting with other users or attending events organized by third parties.
11
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties.
If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably within 30 days, it shall be submitted to the competent courts of the jurisdiction in which the applicable Meday operating entity is registered and operates, unless mandatory consumer law in your place of residence provides otherwise.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
12
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the Service, or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will notify you via a push notification or in-app message, and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and delete your account.
